About the 3rd Anniversary and Fundraiser

The foundation is celebrating its 3rd year anniversary and hosting its 1st fundraiser on the 6th of May, 2017. Genotype and genetic compatibility, awareness and advocacy campaign, testimonies and success stories will all be explored through performance arts (Stage play, poetry, etc).

Auctioning of paintings, artworks, and products from entrepreneurs and brands supporting the cause will also be available. Bring your cards, cash and cheque books, proceeds will be donated to the foundation.

Our goals are to intensify awareness on the importance of genotype and genetic compatibility, to advocate and appeal for standard health care and health information, particularly in rural communities, to highlight the need and importance of blood donation, to improve research, provision and delivery of medication, treatment, management, control and cure of Sickle Cell Anemia, and lastly, to raise funds for SSSCF beneficiaries who urgently need surgical intervention to improve their health, mobility and wellbeing.

We take serious responsibility of our actions on the environment. That’s why we decided to make the event a green one. You too can join us by simply using these ideas:

Do not print your ticket, simply take a screenshot of your confirmation and we’ll verify you from your phone at the venue.

If you come with a group of friends or family in 1 car (car pooling) i.e. up to 4 people, you get a preferred parking (reserved space close to venue entrance). This is only if you arrive early.

There will be separation of waste at source. Please watch the labels on the waste bin before placing your waste in them. All plastics used during the event will be recycled.

By the end of the event, we will inform everyone how much carbon dioxide emissions we have prevented through our collective actions.
